Doctoral thesis (ordinary)
To certify the quality of the thesis is necessary to present at least one contribution (journal article, book chapter, book or monograph, patent, etc. ) related to the subject of the thesis and which satisfies any of the criteria that the Agencia Nacional de Evaluación de la Calidad y Acreditación (ANECA) uses to certify research in the knowledge area of the thesis.
Doctoral thesis (compendium of publications)
It will consist of at least three scientific articles, published or accepted in … according to the ANECA’s criteria in the knowledge area of the thesis. Publication or acceptation must take place while the student is enrolled in the PhD program and publications mush be original works mainly developed by the PhD student.
Recommendations of the Academic Committee of the PhD program in Economics
- The Committee recommends to publish in journals with a rigorous review process. This could be taken into account when evaluating the scientific quality of the thesis.
- The Committee recommends a maximum of four authors per publication. The Committee will consider the possibility of more than four authors whenever the main contribution of the publication corresponds to the PhD student.
